Latent Heat is a Scottish company based in Edinburgh that specialises in providing environmentally friendly, energy efficient heating solutions. We do this by combining the most efficient traditional heating systems with alternative technologies such as Solar Heating where appropriate.  We can also upgrade your existing heating system with a replacement more efficient boiler. 

To date we have successfully installed over 130 domestic solar thermal systems in Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife and we are currently completing 4 commercial installations. One of these is a large array of evacuated tubes on Glenogle Pool, Edinburgh for heating the swimming pool water which was completed in the spring 2010.

Our goal is to save you money whilst at the same time reducing the impact that your energy requirements have on the environment.

The Scottish Government are promoting renewable energy technologies and a boiler scrappage scheme.  Our grants page will give you more information on financial incentives which may be available for your installation.

	This is a measure of how much carbon dioxide you create.
	Emissions from burning fossil fuel such as gas, increases CO2 output.
	Using new technologies can reduce your energy bills and therefore also your CO2 output.
	Latent Heat Ltd specialises in installing these new technologies.

To provide you with the most efficient solution possible, Latent Heat has teamed up with Viessmann , Europe's leading supplier of energy efficient heating systems.  Viessmann components carry a 5 year general warranty on boilers, and a 10 year warranty on some components like heat exchangers.  We guarantee our own workmanship for a period of 2 years.
